It was 2 am.

I was staring at a wall. Tears never stopped.

I can't even make a girl stay with me. She chose him over me. What kind of man I am.

I couldn't concentrate. I stopped socializing. Those were bad days.

After a long time, I met some of the family friends. They were talking about some English songs.

They made me listen to all that. One of the songs’ starting paragraph struck me.

It was my 10th boards and I was wasting way much time thinking about how my ex would be calling and making out with her new boyfriend.

I starting listening to that song. I never cared about the artist. All I knew was that it was motivating me to Atleast start working on something.

After few days, I came across another song of the same artist.

Sometime you just feel tired, you feel weak.

When you feel weak, you just wanna give up,

But you gotta search within you, you gotta find the inner strength, and just pull the shit out of you and get the motivation not to give up

His lyrics was literally getting inside me. Whenever I felt weak, I listened all that.

After that, I started reading about him. His life was sad. The more I read, the more respect I garnered for him.

Then I came across a movie named 8 Mile.

When his girl cheats on him, I felt the pain. When he was booed off stage, I felt how it might have felt.

The final rap battle made me skip my heartbeat. I've never witnessed something like that.

I was his official fan.

I was officially an Eminem Fan.

It's been 8 years since that day I listened to Lose Yourself.

Eminem has become an epitome of strength and persistence.

So whenever someone asks me what inspires me, I say one name.
